Resumé
about me as an artist
I've grown up surrounded my music, live theatre, cinema, and just overall creativity so nobody who knows me and my family was surprised at my career choice. Performing has always felt like what I'm meant to do and being onstage sharing art gives me more life than anything else. Ever since I saw Marry Poppins on Broadway and saw her fly over the audience I was hooked.
I've danced since I was 3 years old starting with ballet at the Boston Ballet School. I danced there for a decade and performed in their Nutcracker. I continued dancing in high school, the Dana Hall School, where I did ballet, jazz, tap, modern, and musical theatre dance.
Throughout middle and high school I performed at the Wheelock Family Theatre, Boston Children's Theatre, attended Boston University's Tanglewood Institute and Summer Theatre Intensive.
Throughout college, I performed at Moonbox Productions in their New Works festival, three summers performing in Reagle Music Theatre's productions, Greater Boston Stage Company, did a Boston Tea Party Reenactment as Phillis Wheatley, and a reading at The Huntington. Along with participating in numerous in-school productions at Emerson and getting to Music Direct and conduct a live band.
I've been writing and producing my own music for about 6 years and have released music on multiple platforms. I've always loved film and television and in college I was able to start getting experience in front, and behind, the camera. I love and connect to all the different forms of art/performing art for their own special reasons.
